tbh i nexpected more

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i really wanted to like this product because of all the good reviews it had. sound quality is alright, build quality seems fair. battery life is abysmal and i cant walk away more than 10 feet without it becoming a stuttery wreck. not sure if it was only this unit that was defective but i personally would not buy again

Posted .Hi LeoV, thank you for sharing your experience with the Boom 2 EXC. I'm sorry that the battery life is giving you issues. You can try a soft reset by pressing the Power button and Volume Down button until it chimes. There is also a hard reset that can be done by pressing Volume Up, Volume Down, Power, and Bluetooth button at the same time. Press all 4 until the speaker chimes again. Following the reset charge the speaker to 100%, that should resolve the battery life issue. Thank you for being a Logitech and Ultimate Ears customer. Kristi from Logitech.

Mine is choppy in sound (no, it not my phone) and the battery is always dying. Plus I dislike the fact that you have to download an app, it's not just a simple Bluetooth hook-up.

Purchase with caution
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did countless hours of research, before I actually purchased the UE Boom 2, only for countless websites rating it as THE best portable bluetooth speaker. I bought it confident that it would blow my mind, but it did anything but that. The speaker was decently loud as far as portable speakers go, but had little to no bass. It would shut itself off and turn back on multiple times in a row, randomly while I was using it. I was still satisfied with it, until after charging and using it for a third time, it died after 3 hours of usage. It was fully charged, not sitting in the sun, and not even on full volume. This is coming from a speaker that is supposed to have "15 hours of life" (realistically it would be 9 to 10) but I couldn't get it to stay alive for longer than 3 or 4. Overall the speaker seems to have some sort of manufacturing issue, and I think there are better ones out there with better quality for the price than the UE Boom 2.
