Didn't give it 5 stars because it cannot be used like the older models to connect directly (or thru the app) to the internet directly and access music services (Pandora/Prime/Spotify?etc.)

Idk an Amazon echo dot is not portable but is only 19.99 and basically does the same thing Bluetooth wise. Your paying for the water proof /portability sound quality is decent however 99 bucks is steep. My kid loves it for his work outs and such soooooo we’re keeping it.

My daughter stole my 2nd generation she loved it so much. This tiny speaker has outdoor mode which is new and nice in wide open spaces. Perfect for the paddle board.

Battery life is good for the size and sound is even better! My only gripe is that charges via micro-usb, the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars, but grandpa doesn't mind it.
