The sound is loud and clear. It also gives out a good bass sound and can be connected to the two other UE speakers we have that are owned by family members for the same sound output.

I exchanged my first one because the sound cuts for several seconds (every time I've used it). The second one is doing it also. However, the sound is great and I like the outdoor feature to take the bass out (if you have neighbors, roommates, etc this can come in handy). I'm just upset about the sound disappearing.

I still have 2 left. Unfortunately I left one at the beach. This is a last minute Christmas gift and I am sure there will be no disappointments.
