My daughter stole my 2nd generation she loved it so much. This tiny speaker has outdoor mode which is new and nice in wide open spaces. Perfect for the paddle board.

Battery life is good for the size and sound is even better! My only gripe is that charges via micro-usb, the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars, but grandpa doesn't mind it.
