Cute but not loud enough

It’s very cute and compact. Unfortunately, the volume was not loud enough. I expected to be able to have a dinner party or something with Ruth with music filling the room, but it’s barely louder than my cell phone audio. I tried with multiple media as well.

The sound quality is just fine. I don't blast it, but just like to have some noise while I'm doing mundane chores. The bluetooth connection to my iPhone works perfectly, as there is never, ever any gaps or static.
