This mini speaker works for moderate outside usage where I need it to be rugged and waterproof. The sound is good but not great. The use of 2 does enhance the sound to my liking and it doesn't require any app on my phone.

Needed a small bluetooth speaker for background music at an outdoor party. This did the trick without any issues and sounds decent enough for the application. I liked it enough to purchase another speaker for better distribution. The feature that allows you to pair multiple speakers is nice and works seamlessly. The second speaker I received looks very slightly different with a different logo on the lid, but seems to function and sound the same.

I got this for my son and used it by the pool. I was suprised by the sound, it got soked a bit and kept on playin. It's easy to keep clean, sand doesn't seem to stick in it. I wish it had a little more base but for the price it's nice.
