And unlike other televisions, YOU CANNOT TURN IT OFF!!! Why do so many television manufacturers brag about having "motion blur removal" as if that is something you want??? LIFE HAS MOTION BLUR!!! When things move fast, there should be a blur!!! That is how our eyes perceive the world. When you remove that, things look weird. Unless this is a creative choice by the filmmaker for a very specific (and strange) asthetic, this is not something that anyone should want added to everything they watch! At least other televisions have the decency to give you the option to turn it off. With this monstrosity, you're stuck with it. I even called up the manufacturers desperately searching for a way to turn this "feature" off. They didn't even know what I was talking about - as if this is just the way a t.v. should look. And even when I returned it to Best Buy (no problem returning it luckily) and explained what the issue was, they stared at me like I was a crazy person. Welcome to Idiocracy.

Posted .The Soap Opera effect you mention is something seen on 120hz TV’s that are using Motion Interpolation. Because this TV is a 60hz set, I am unsure of anything within this model that could be causing the issue you describe. I would suggest contacting us for troubleshooting at www.InsigniaProducts.com/support/contact.html or having the set reviewed by Geek Squad under the 1 year manufacturer warranty to rule out any issues within the set. - Jon, Insignia Support

No browser feature unlike most smart tv's.. This tv is solely supported by the ROKU feature..(APP based).. The resolution is average, nothing to brag about. Holds a steady Wi-Fi connection.. My thoughts.. This is a great t.v.for someone I college or for kids gaming.. This is not an upgrade. More like a starter kit or place holder..
