The movie tells the story about a generation long ago. A real hero! Makes you wonder what you would do in similar situations. I loved the ending!!

I saw this one in the theaters and have been wanting to see it again. I think the actors did a good job of conveying the difficult conditions and how they were able to over come the situation.

The picture quality is good and the sound quality is excellent with Dolby Atmos.

I missed this movie in the theaters and really wanted to see it. I decided since it is based on a true story I wanted the DVD. Very pleased!

I love movies based on true stories, no matter how loosely. Something about it makes me more invested. Angela Jolie did a great job directing this one, it's a story that needed to be told.

Perseverance in the face of extreme challenge is a difficult thing to achieve. The fact that this man kept his strength and faith intact is tremendous. This is one of those harsh feel-good stories.

My husband and I like watching historical drama films. This is a really great story that gives you idea of what our men went through during the war.

This movie is about a young mans struggle to survive a WWII plane crash and Japanese internment camp. His perseverance lead to him becoming an Olympian. Great acting and a good storyline.

Fantastic story of the rise of Louis Zamperini from Olympic athlete to a WWII POW in a Japanese Camp. Zamperini is a true American hero.

I would recommend this movie to anyone that wants to watch an inspiring movie!! You may tear up but it's so worth it. Great family movie!

I think this isn't the war movie. The 1936 Olympics, WW II war in Pacific, ans survival at sea ... not like action in war, just like human drama. Survival in every CIRCUMSTANCE... It is really good story.
