This is a story that needed to be told. Hopefully many young people will see this film and be inspired by a truly courageous man. I knew his story before the film was made and can't think of a better subject for our children to aspire to.

Unbroken is a great film of courage and sacrifice which tells a gripping true story. The events of the movie are breath taking as this story unfolds. The special features (especially the interviews with Greg Laurie) give a wonderful insight into this man's life and how he overcame all that he went through as a POW.

I love buy 2 get 1 free, I love bargains, so it's great getting newer movie's at a lower price, the movie itself was really good, love watching WWII movies about real events & how horrid they were & how prisoner's were treated.

I thought that the movie was a very good choice for a family to view together. It was very interesting and the acting was extremely good. I would definetly recommend this movie to all viewing ages as it is very well done and the screenplay was outstanding also. I hope people embrace this movie and give it a try.

Our family really enjoyed this movie. Brutal in some parts but should be a good movie for most to see; but would not recommend for really young kids. Watching all that he endured only to forgive in the end was beyond what most could do.

We really liked this movie and, after hearing it was a true story, enjoyed researching the life of Louis 'Louie' Zamperini and found him amazing. If you purchase this DVD - check out extra features about his life on the disk. Great guy.

I wonder how many stories go untold. This was a great film and wonderful storyline. Its sometimes hard to imagine the things Zamperini went though one event after another. Talk about a tough guy and the courage he displayed. I'm a fan.

Angelina Jolie's directing is superb and the story is really heart breaking. Make sure to watch the special features to learn more about the real person who endured all this. I highly recommend to watch this movie at least once :-)

I wanted to see this movie when it came out originally but I missed the opportunity. I was glad to see it on sale at Best Buy. I bought it and went home and watched it the same day. Great movie that portrayed a real wartime event.

Exceptional valued movie, get to see a great movie without going to the movie house, the entire family watch this on movie and game night a couple of weeks ago. Truly recommend this to any family looking for a good movie

If you have not seen this movie buy it and watch it. It does not focus in guns but focuses in survival and forgiveness.

This movie is kind of a downer (how could it not be), but it is still excellent. The highlight of this DVD, though, is the bonus feature called "The real Louie Zamperine" where they interview him, his children, and the author of the book. That feature is also a must see.

An action movie that is also inspirational. A rare feat from Hollywood. Dolby Atmos adds to the experience. Highly recommended.

The movie shows how the Japanese were during the horrible war. The fights are intense and the sound is good and crisp. The story carries on a bit too much but it shows what the poor men had to go through after their plane has an incident. A good film for people with an interest of WW2.

Based on the life experience of Louis Zamperini, this movie shows how resilient the human spirit can be. It's well acted, and has a bonus feature focusing on the real Louis Zamperini, completed before his passing.

I saw this film in the theater and couldn't wait to purchase it when it came out. It is an outstanding film and was well directed. I loved it so much I went out and purchased the book that further tells the story.

One of the best if not the best movie of the year. The power of the the human being. Cannot write his story. All true, down to the despicable prison guard who still today didn't want to recognize how wrong he was.

Amazing film of perseverance made even better by the fact it is a true story. My only regret is that the film could have spent more time on how Louis coped and eventually forgave his captors after the war. I think that is just as amazing as his endurance through his time in captivity.

If you think you've had bad days, think again! This true story is inspiring. When life keeps beating you down, you just keep getting up! Watch this movie and you will understand the power of human will.

The price of the movie was much lower than other prices at Wal-Mart and Target. This movie will make you Laugh, Cry, jump for joy and again cry. this is a true story about a World War II Vet. Very touching!!
