but it wasn't very good. boring. not sure how you could make such great true material into boring, but anglea jolie managed to do it.

This movie is ok but i like the director to work harder.

This film is an example of true war heroe. The story is well written, but it’s not like the book. I bought it because I demoed it in a Magnolia design center at Best Buy. The demo was short and left me wanting more. I believe that it was the first 4 minutes of the film that I got to see. I was impressed with the action and picture quality of this film. The Atmos track sold me on this. This film will definitely put your HT Set-Up to a test.

First of all, I thought the movie was terrific. But there was a lot more to Louie Zamperini's story than the movie could show. Unbroken is based on Laura Hillenbrand's book of the same name. She was enthralled by Zamperini's books which gave a more detailed account of his life as well as his take on life and so forth. His books give his life a fuller meaning and understanding as to why he acted as he did as a kid, teen, young man, and older wiser man. The movie gives you an incredible accounting of what happened to him. The one thing it lacked was HOW did he get the wisdom after all was said and done in his life. See the movie. After that read his books. It'll surprise you!

I read the book. Jack O'Connell is Louie Zamperini. He gives one heck of a performance. The Japanese were brutal. They lacked a strong moral base. That's why they lost the war. I was annoyed that the film did not show what happened to Zamperini after he returned home after the war. For me, that part of Zamperini's life is really what showed you what he was made of and what was at the core of this man. This is the part of the man facing his own moral base that was absent from this film.

Truly a wonderful dvd about survival, faith and selflessness. The dvd catches your attention from the start and the time goes by quickly watching it.

Saw previews for this, but never saw at theatre. Wish I did, great movie, awesome story. Worth a watch for anyone, especially fans of the genre

This movie will touch your heart, one of the best movies I've seen over Christmas break. This edition comes in a steelbook which is really cool!

Though tears welled in my eyes as I watched Unbroken, I felt it was lacking something more. I enjoyed the film and watching his strength but some of the acting felt forced.

Incredible movie. I didn't know that Angelina Jolie directed this movie. Great true story of resilience and survival.

This is an excellent show about staying strong in the face of adversity.

A straightforward and entirely commendable story about the triumph of the human spirit.

The Movie Unbroken Was A Great Movie. Yes I Would Recommend.

Found this in the 5.99 pile at Best Buy great movie . Came with digital copy and bluray and dvd. Love it when I find deals like this
