The installers that installed my range hood were really nice and very professional.

The unit from day 1 blows air in but also blows out to your forehead. The installers insisted it's normal. I requested service, and the same company came out again and said it's normal. It's loud and sounds strong as if it's sucking everything in, but it's not close to being effective as the old one they hauled away. Whole house gets food smell and some smoke. Something is definitely not right. I'm going to call Best Buy/Pacific Sales/GeekSquad...this is insane.

Cut new hood templates before removing and measuring old hood resulting in ME having to find and buy an adaptor. When they returned to install a week later they damaged the overhead cabinet with a mounting screw. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is the installers were very professional and nice guys.

The initial technicians sent to install the hood exhaust were very disappointing. The main installer spent most of his time talking about himself and how he couldn’t install our appliance because something was wrong. He attempted to install our hood exhaust without reading the directions. He eventually gave up and told us to call and set a new appointment Trent when I pointed out he was doing it wrong. The second crew that installed the exhaust did the install without any issues.

Very professional team. On time and very knowledgeable.

The guys were quick. They left some screws behind which left me wondering where did those screw come from. Are they essential screws or did they come from unpacking unit. Did not offer how to use range hood; maybe they thought it didn't need any explanation.

If I just could give zero star, then I would have. They showed up, opened the items (Microwave-oven combo and a hood), left the Hood in the open area in the back yard, then lied about going to home-depot to get some stuff and be right back. So, they left but did not came back. After a call with BestBuy, they claimed that the kitchen was not ready (another lie). So save yourself money and time,.. find a professional in yelp to do the installation for you which I did,.. it cost me the same (and by the way, they supposed to haul away the old appliances as well, which they didn't)

Range hood recommended by sales was not comparable with range. Hood was to be quiet but sound level is off the scale. Only nice thing to say is it looks good. Very costly wall hanging

Unfortunately the Geek Squad cannot install range hoods so it is outsourced. The first installer had no idea what he was installing and damaged the hood and left me to sort out a return exchange. A month later a new installer arrived with a new hood and when he opened the box it had been dropped and damaged. Another month and the installer arrives and it was the first installer and I refused To have him install it and had him leave the hood which he refused to do until I blocked the truck from leaving. Finally another installer arrived a few days later and installed it without incident. The only person that ranks 5 stars is Princess the sales manager for trying to help.

This rating of 1 and review pertains only to the installation. The installer tried to pressure me into giving him $165.00 to install an electrical outlet because he said my newly purchased vent hood would work better if he installed this electrical outlet because my old one was hard-wired and he didn't want to be responsible for wiring it wrong and causing my house to burn down. I thought, why wouldn't Best Buy sales tell me this at the time my purchase? The salesperson and the product was very good and I had no problem with this part of the purchase.

Installation took all of 20 minutes. They did a good job.
