This movie was recommended by a friend who is hardly familiar with the franchise. This embarks on Selene after the fourth movie and some of the returning cast. Several things are not explained and the story hardly kept interest. There was action in it to keep watching, or could be background noise. I'd recommend getting it on a big sale or renting / streaming it.

From ordering through the App, received through the mail with good (not the greatest) packaging, to getting the 4K disc and enjoying the movie it was a wonderful experience. Why fight the crowds trying to find that special edition when you can order online from BestBuy. If your a fan of the Underworld series this is a must have.

Sequels, especially sequels in this genre, are notoriously horrible, so I wasn't expecting much when I bought this on UHD. But I was thoroughly entertained! As usual, Selene (Beckensale) had no emotion to speak of, but the supporting cast Marius (Menzies) and Semira (Pulver) did a great job providing the emotion. Yes, the plot was easy to follow and we saw all of the twists coming, but I will definitely watch this multiple times! It is an easy watch with good action and great sound.

I have been a huge fan of the Underworld series since I was a teenager. I went and saw the first movie in theaters on a date with my first boyfriend and I fell in love (with the movie, not the boyfriend). Although some of the sequels have not lived up to the original, Blood Wars was certainly entertaining and enjoyable. I really liked the Lycan storyline coming back to life in this sequel.

Kate Beckinsale kicks but in this movie. may not be as good as the first 2 but she slays this movie. longing for Michael and a child lost to her story lines come full course. theo james is excellent as is Charles dance, tying up all the reason as why the vampires had all cause to fight to fight the lycans. plus solve the mystery of a great love. that was never revealed loved this movie .

If you liked the previous movies in this series you will like this movie. In my opinion, this movie is just as good as Underworld and Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. I think it is better than Underworld: Evolution. It is much better than Underworld: Awakening. This movie held my attention the entire time I was watching it. Good pace, good lighting, good storyline. If you are a fan of vampire movies you will like this. note: this is NOTHING like Twilight, it is 10 x BETTER

I enjoy the Underworld franchise as a whole. In my opinion, the best of the 5 is the 2nd, Underworld: Evolution. I hoped for a bit more out of this installment. The characters, aside from Selene, seemed rather 2 dimensional. The script could have used some polish. The sets were great. I gave this a 4 because I am a fan. Otherwise, I would probably have given this title a lower rating.

This movie is ok as far as the series goes. It is obvious that they used a different Michael in the few scenes that you did see him. Story line jumps from last series that made it seem as though most of the vampire and werewolf species were killed off to this one that makes it appear as though they are thriving. Can't see where they will go with another movie if they do one.

Goes without saying from the rating I really enjoyed the movie. When it comes to the underworld series, I pretty much liked all of them so far. Great action scenes, some pretty awesome locations to shoot in and in my opinion a pretty satisfying ending if this is the last in the franchise. If you enjoy the Underworld series then I'm sure you'll find this a decent addition.

IMHO this series has went downhill since the second movie. I always get irritated when a good story has to change the truth about what we know in order to continue a story line but this movie does help to put a decent ending to the story. The movie does feel rushed and didn't ever really get me too excited but my wife loved it so all in all it is just a good end for the series.

Selene is back! Underworld Blood Wars is a fantastic film in the Underworld cinematic universe. A must have for a fan's collection. In this film Selene is pitted against Lycan & Vampire sects. New interesting characters are introduced. Hope the franchise will continue.

It seems like it could have been a Great movie of making? However, it could have been the "NEW" way of filming the action movie? It just seems super DARK; the picture is super DARK in contrast. I didn't mean dark as the storyline. I wish the contrast color of the movie would have been a bit lighter so that we can see all the actions, details on costumes, and the CG effect?

This movie was everything I wanted from the final movie! It was action packed, with a great story. It leaves it open to make more movies, even though they’ve said they don’t plan on making anymore. If you’re a fan of any of the underworlds this will be up there with the first two. I can honestly say that it’s probably better than the first two, if nothing else better than the second one. Must watch and own for any Underworld or Vampire/Werewolf movie fan!

I purchased this movie for my wife, who is a fan of the Underworld series. I have seen some of the movies and they are pretty good. My wife raved about the action and the story line. A definite must for all fans of the series.

The latest installment to the Underworld series sees Vampire death dealer, Selene (Kate Beckinsale) fights to end the eternal war between the Lycan clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her. Plus it is follows in the direction of the Project Popart for the steelbook, which aren't that terrible but the Underworld series could have been better in that regard.

In this 5th installment of Underworld Blood wars I liked the movie even though in my opinion out of all of them this one to me had the least action compared to all the previous ones but it's not a bad movie so if you been watching this series since the beginning definitely buy the blu ray and if not wait till it comes out on Netflix hope this helps enjoy.

So glad Best Buy got this series a cool looking set of steelbooks. These are fun vampire/werewolf action flicks, especially for those of us tired of seeing movies like Twilight and shows like True Blood ruin the mythologies of both. These movies are fun, action-packed, and Blood Wars looks to take the series in a new direction. Looking forward to the next

With there having been so many movies in this series I was not holding out much hope for a good movie. Well the surprise was on me because this is a very good movie. I don't give out spoilers but I will say is this was a great reload of the franchise and now I'm looking forward to more movies! It's well worth the watch if this is your genre of movie.

I own all of the Underworld movies and I enjoyed this one. I will say it is not as good as the others, as I feel it was rushed, but it was more than likely due to lack of funds from the previous movies. I hope that they can at least continue Underworld at least to a closure point instead of letting it hang as it did in this particular movie.

I'm always excited for a new Underworld movie. I can definitely say that this one may not quite be on the same level as the first two or three movies in the franchise, but the characters and story are still just a great watch. Having these movies come to UHD is also a huge bonus and I hope to see the rest of the movies make their way to UHD soon.
