Universal Soldier is such an awesome action movie that is, without question, a guilty pleasure. While Van Damme and Lundgren are obviously never going to win an Oscar for their acting, that’s part of what gives this movie its charm! With such a creative idea as the basis of the movie, Van Damme and Lundgren’s over the top approach and masculinity makes this an action-lovers must-own Film! Packed from beginning to end with epic action sequences and all the tropes of a great action movie, this is pure enjoyment. This set also comes loaded with hours of special features including 2 separate commentary tracks and a free digital redemption code.

If you like the old karate movies, you will definitely love this movie. It is one of Jean Claude’s best movies. Definitely my favorite action star in karate movies as well. Pretty cool person too. Met him at planet Hollywood back in the day. Do your self a favor and buy this one for yourself for Christmas!

Finally it's on 4k. Love this movie as a kid. Van damme is awesome. Must watch.

The bonuses were really great. Both Jean Claude and Dolph were so young looking. I remember when all the soldiers did so many other action movies. Best was the comedy that was so subtle it seemed adlibbed. Remaking or re-released movies in 4k are so great, I believe they are better quality than the theaters.

One of my childhood favorites finally comes to the next format, 4K! This action packed extravaganza looks and sounds great in my HT. I'm glad Lionsgate is releasing a lot of their catalog movies on 4K instead of leaving them to rot somewhere, a la Paramount or Disney. Pick this up if you're a fan of old school action movies, JCVD or Dolph!

Great action classic in amazing quality 4K picture and awesome immersive surround sound! Van Dammage at his best and Same with Dolph Lundgren! A must own 4k Bluray for either fan!!

Great classic action flick from the Early 90’s. I enjoyed this one more than the remakes that followed. I would rank it high for action movies from that ERA.
