They did a great job hearkening back to details from the first days of the MCU as well as building on the Spider-Man universe and leaving the film on a great cliffhanger. The romance between MJ and Peter is pretty forced, though it is easier to swallow because she acts like a decent person in this film while she was mostly a jerk in the first one. Great subterfuge by the writers of the film using what you think you know about the main characters against you--just like Mysterio himself. However, leaving a multi-billion dollar weapons platform in the hands of a kid was pretty reckless, even for Tony--the only part of the film that really doesn't work. The action, humor and special effects were top-notch. Be sure to watch the mid and post credits scenes!

Another great marvel movie! Only problem with these movies are made for adults only.

I am a marvel fan and this goes with my collection. It will be a Christmas present.

Bit of a let down from the first movie. Spiderman is great but the villain is weak.
