I very much enjoy this movie; it's dark, gritty, and nihilistic. Sure, if that's not your thing, you may not like it, but if you like Venom and thought the movie was severely lacking, Upgrade does a much better job of that story concept. Sure it's A.I. and not a 'symbiote' but the a,i. better reflects the villain (not anti-hero) approach the concept takes in the comic books. good movie, give it a go.

Fun, fast-paced sci-fi/action flick! Really enjoyed this! Has scenes of exceptionally graphic violence so, beware! Well-done action scenes! Interesting story! Great performances from actors! Certainly not a movie for children! Too bad this flick just flew under the radar. I don't think a lot of people have seen it, at least no one that I know and they should!

Great premise, but this movie needed more great action than it had. The action that was there was amazing, which is why it needed more.

What an incredible film this is! There's no way I couldn't miss it. I skipped all trailers because I had no idea this was coming out. I missed it in theaters too. I remembered the movie because a friend asked me if I was gonna buy the blu so I can give him the code. I said, okay, sure, bought it, watched it, and holy molly!! It was blown away! Probably the best action/thriller/sci-fi movie of 2018!

I kept seeing the trailer for this and thought hey this is something different.I stopped in best buy one Saturday looking for another movie and saw Upgrade on sale so I took a chance and picked it up.My expectations weren't that high because I hadn't heard from anyone who had seen it and I hadn't read any reviews but I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was.

I read some previous reviews...However, I still rented this movie and loved it so much I bought the Bluray. This is a solid story about AI and an impassioned man. The special FX and soundtrack is A+ There are a few twists and turns you won't see coming. The cast and style of the film is fantastic too!! Check this out...you will be pleasantly suprised!!!

A very good take on the "revenge" story of a hands on guy who is living in the near future and is annoyed by all of the automated computers that are taking the human element out of everyday living. After being attacked and left paralyzed from the neck down, he gets a "second chance" by a person he did work for before being attacked.

I don't remember how I stumbled up on this movie because I saw no advertisements. I happened to watch it at the theatre and was surprised at how good and unique is was. A very good movie with not your typical ending and twists abound. I recommend adding this to your movie collection.

It breaks my heart that more people don’t know about this film. This was a sleeper hit that is so well made on every level. From action to story to acting, Upgrade hits it out of the park on every level. If you’re a fan of tight storytelling and low key action sequences, Upgrade is a must-own!!

This movie wasn’t as good as I thought it was going to be, but I still enjoyed it.

I love SciFi movies. I actually went and saw this one at the cinema earlier this year. It was way better than I thought it would be. I liked it so much, I had to purchase it and put in my Blu-ray library. If you haven't seen this one yet, do yourself and favor and pick it up. It's a really good movie.

This movie was so much fun. The effects were really well done and the fighting sequences are so good. Such an amazing movie. Though it seems just like a film version of a Black Mirror episode, the movie is still a lot of fun to watch. Logan Marshal-Green does a fantastic job in this film.

Great story and the action sequences are very well executed .

The plot is a bit slow, but it’s not unwatchable. The plot has enough depth that you won’t see the ending coming. It’s a refreshing, thought provoking, movie.

This perfectly executed sci-fi thriller belongs up there with The Fly in my opinion. Logan Marshall Green absolutely kills it. The violence is over-the-top and beautifully choreographed. It could have been cheesy and awful, but they knocked it out of the park.

Interesting premise, lots of action and violence. The plot was good and it had a somewhat interesting twist at the end. It's not great cinema but if you are looking for a decent action flick it works.

This movie caught me off-guard. The special effects are pretty decent, even though I heard it was a cheap movie. The action was enough to keep me entertained and the ending blew me away. This movie is definitely a must for action movie collectors.
