As good as you can get

When looking at this product, you might think it would be irritating or annoying to use. For me, that's not the case after several days of use. The Upright GO 2 has you set up your posture (where your spine is straight), and then whenever you slouch it will vibrate so that you straighten back up. Initially, it can be a little irritating - mainly because I didn't realize how much I slouch! I have noticed a change in my posture after about a week of using this product, so if slouching is an issue for you, this is the product for you.

    Great device for your health

I've worked in an office environment for my entire career. This means sitting at my desk or sitting in thousands of meetings. My posture has been terrible for years and I live with ongoing lower back pain. Despite trying to think about improving it, I've had no progress. WIth the Upright - GO 2™ Posture Trainer, I now have something to give me a gentle reminder throughout the day that I need to continually improve my posture. I was skeptical about sticking something on my back, but after the first 30 minutes or so, I didn't even notice it other than the gentle reminders to stop slouching. This device requires downloading an app which tracks your posture. The app allows you to set what you want the device to do. You can "train" or "track" your posture. Training mode enables the device to vibrate when your back is not in a good posture position. Tracking mode provides push notifications to your phone on how your doing. I chose to go with training mode. I've been using the device for a few days now. Although I haven't noticed any decrease in my lower back pain, I will continue to use it and see how I feel in the next thirty days. The only thing I don't like is the need to order the pads which stick to your back. They come in 30-day packs. This is a very interesting device to improve your overall health.

    Better sit down

I feel like I'm constantly catching myself slouching, so I thought I'd give this product a try. I am a stay-at-home mom with twins and 2 puppies. Needless to say, I'm constantly moving around the house. In training mode, I actually found this product somewhat irritating. It would buzz me if I leaned slightly forward. So, for picking up anything, leaning forward to reach something, etc., it would buzz me. Feeding the dogs, getting dinner ready, washing dishes... buzz, buzz, buzz. I decided to just turn it to the tracking mode. Much better. Perhaps I need to play around with the baseline posture position, and make it more forgiving. I had the tracking mode on for a few hours when I decided to check the app to see how I was doing. The device was disconnected. I had to connect it again, and then it wanted me to set my posture position again. It disconnected one other time throughout the day. Note that I have a Pixel 2 phone. I'm giving this device 3 stars because I could see how this would be a totally awesome product for someone with a desk job. I used to be a web developer and would sit at a desk for 8 hours a day. I really wish I had the posture trainer then. I suggest, if you really want to give this product a try... you better sit down.

    OK But Gets Annoying Quickly

The Upright Go 2 posture trainer is an OK device that will alert you to your bad posture initially. It's not only the buzzing that reminds you about your slouching, but knowing the device is on your back will make you think about standing and sitting more upright. However, after a few days, the buzzing can get annoying. Bend over to eat, buzzing, bend over to tie your shoes, buzzing. There is a setting to delay the number of seconds until buzzing, but there are a number of routine activities that will keep setting the device off. After a few days, it can get annoying. Also, be aware that the manual says it's a USB C plug, but as I found out while traveling, you can't use a "smart" charge cable. My USB C to USB C cable wouldn't work (also confirmed by support which was quick and helpful). Need to carry around ANOTHER cable if you want to be able to charge the device while traveling.

Likes: works good, does it's job, stays on Cons: you have to get it centered on your back or it doesn't read right (at least for me)

I got this for my wife as she has been on a mission to correct her posture. While this won't "fix" your posture, it helps to create habits. Set-up and the walk through was simple, and went through without a hitch. My wife has tried the chair cushions, the shoulder straps, etc. This is actually helpful because unlike those other "gizmos" this is more like a workout. And the notifications make it harder to cheat. So far so good. While I would complain about the use of the reusable sticky back, there are plenty in the box and being that they claim results in 2 weeks, the short use nature is fine for intervals. Not a lot more to add. I like it, my wife likes it, and we hope the habits stick!

Battery must be charged regularly or it will no longer charge. I hurt my back and need to take some time off from training, When I went back to charge the device it won't accept a charge and cannot connect. Don't waste your time on this.

Only could use the product for a few days, as the adhesive tape made my skin itch and was uncomfortable, The company would not refund even though it is a quality issue.
