The grip of the case is very good. The pencil loop appears to be an after thought given its badly place location which makes you lay tablet face down. It can interfere with some glass screen covers which is the reason I returned mine. Works well with Apple Smart Keyboard too.

Ultimately, I got the Lifeproof NUUD case, but at the time I purchased my iPad Pro, there was not a model specifically for the Pro series (like there is now). So, I purchased this Urban Armor Gear case and it has performed very well. Make certain to also purchase a screen protector to use in tandem.

Great protective case for Ipad. First one lasted years. Wore out the leather around the magnet tab and it fell out. Loop for pen is handy. Old case showed the scars and wear and a few minorly burnt parts from over enthusiastic use in the kitchen.

I'm very happy that I purchased this cover, it's helped keep my ipad clean and safe. I have pets that jump all over that place and this case has helped keep my ipad safe. It might be a little pricey but I don't worry about bending or breaking the ipad as much as I would be if I bought a cheaper case.

The UAG iPad Pro case is sturdy, low-profile, and lightweight; hardly adding any discernible weight or bulk to my (usually overstuffed) book bag. I wish there was a clip for my Apple Pencil as on the larger iPad covers, but the Pencil loop does a fine job keeping it bundled with my iPad!

Bought this for new iPad 9.7". Works well, though I find myself forgetting which way to orient the cover to use as a stand. Guess multiple ways work for different angles. Cover flops around a bit when trying to use it to take pictures. Price was great, happy with purchase.

Great case to use with the IPad Pro and Smart Keyboard. Case as all around protection! When wanting to use the Smart Keyboard you can unsnap the front protection part of the case and snap on the keyboard. Nice to have the versatility and protection for a nice price! Would purchase again if needed.

I told a Best Buy employee what I was looking for in a case, and he recommended the UAG case. He was right. It is rugged, the kickstand does not slide like my previous case did, it has a secure loop for my apple pencil, and it folds back easily. Best case I have ever bought.

I really dig the look of this iPad case. I wanted something different, which felt a little more tactical, if that's a category. The material doesn't feel as if it is going to slip out of your hands. I also like the flexibility it offers, depending on how you want it to stand.

I got the new iPad Pro 9.7 and wanted to make sure I had a case that would protect it. This seems to do a good job. The stand portion could operate a little better. It doesn't always hold well when not on a completely flat surface. Otherwise, a solid case.

I have dropped my iPad numerous times and the case and iPad held up great! The feature I like best is that it is so easy to set the iPad for reading. Also, because the back cover is removeable it is easier than ever to take lots of audio/video without something getting in the way.

Pro: The cover for iPad and smart keyboard provides good protection. Cons: No major issues with the cover I feel it's a little bulky and makes unfolding the smart keyboard a little challenging

Pretty solid case at a good price. Only complaint is that it slightly interferes with the folding of a Smart Keyboard and makes the angle a little sharper when standing your IPad up in watch mode. Other than that it's a great case and I like it.

Case works great but when you open it the "strap" part isn't wide enough or stiff enough. It kind of lets the back swing around. The material of the case seems durable and feels good to hold. Fits like a glove and definitely offers crash protection.

This is good for horizontal use but lacks rotation for vertical use

Decent case for the price. Good corner and screen protection. Would like a little narrower profile around lightning port, sometimes I can't get my Apple Pencil in far enough to charge. Elastic loop for Pencil is good addition and stays out of the way.

I love this case. I love the magnetic Tab the keeps it closed to protect the screen and the fact that u can leave the case on and still use Apple's Smart keyboard AUG is the case I use on all my Phones too IPhone 7plus Note7 and Note Edge. The only case I will ever get.

this cover is not about looks but rather about protecting your investment. the rugged feel and grippy surface give you assurance it will not slip your hands....but if it does, the cover does a good job protecting your iPad. the detachable lid is a very convenient feature.

I really like this case. I had an Ipad mini so when I bought this Ipad I wanted a cover or case that didn't add bulk or weight to my new Ipad but would protect it and I believe this one fits the bill and it seems to be good protection. I'm happy with my purchase

Loved this case when I bought it. It met all my needs for a lightweight and durable case. I liked the way how flexible the case can be used along with the Apple keyboard or how the front cover can be removed. However, I can not recommend this case because of one major design flaw. The magnets embedded in the case causes an audio distortion from the screen. If you don't believe me, try it. Put your ears near the screen with and without the case and tell me if you don't hear distortion. I would worry about the long term effects of this flaw on your iPad if you own this combo. Can you say how very disappointed I was in UAG? Yep. Please UAG, please fix this flaw.
