    It serves as fine protection for the iPad Pro 9.7". I appreciate the fact that when the cover is open, it serves as an "anti-slip" factor when resting on your leg while being used. It holds the iPad Pro securely. There are openings for access to the charger port and access to the side controls. There is no shoulder strap, if that is important to you.

    The only shortcoming is that it does not stand up as well as described, the cover has a felt on it and notches that let it slip when you touch the screen. I think deeper and full length notches would stop it but I didn't design it . I bought it for protection and it does that well.
