I'm actually using this on an iPad Air 2, not a Pro and the fit is still good. The only difference is mine doesn't have the extra set of speakers at the top, but this doesn't have any impact on how it fits or works on the iPad Air. It provides a comfortable grip in your hands and I like that it has a built in loop for a stylus/pen, although I don't own one (yet). The only knock is on when trying to prop it up using the back cover. It has the notches/ridges for to help keep it up, but the base doesn't seem to seat into them very well and it often slides back down to flat.

It looks nice but it doesn't have easy access to the buttons and that makes it a bad tablet case..

This case says it fits the iPad Air, but it does not. I will be returning it.

I really like this case! Fits perfectly and provides a lot of protection. It is lighter than I thought it would be which is a nice bonus. The ability to remove the folio lid is also kind of cool. Definitely recommend.

I was looking for something that would protect from drops, lightweight, and not too intrusive. I got it from a store and it is slightly different than the pictures show at the time of my writing. They have the pen clip vertically, while my UAE has it at the bottom. Bottom is also on the UAG website. Careful if you take the screen cover part off! Taking it off is fine, but putting it back on requires A LOT of force, and I did it with the iPad mounted. Now I wish that I had taken the iPad out first, because that amount of force on its center might be damaging.

I have had many cases for my previous iPads but this by far is the best one. I recently purchased an iPad Pro and I needed to find a case that would be durable and protect my investment. This case is rugged yet sleek. It fits the iPad like a glove. The top cover can be removed when I'm working on my iPad or I can keep it on to prop up the screen for viewing. It's very durable and if I drop my iPad I know this will protect it. I'm planning on purchasing another for my son's iPad mini. I recommend this case for anyone wanting a durable case.

This case is quite nice for several reasons. The detachable Smart Cover/stand is nice, and it doesn't add much weight to the iPad. The edges tend to pop off easily while holding, but only if held with one hand really. It's compatible with the Smart Keyboard as well as Smart Cover (though it comes with a Smart Cover). It also has a nice Apple Pencil holder, and I haven't lost my pencil using it yet. The pencil holder is tight enough that the pencil does not slip out.

When searching for an iPad pro case, I was hesitant to purchase this one because I had tested it out in-store and didn't like the rubberized feel of the case. It had excellent reviews online, though, and so eventually I ended up going back and buying it. There really aren't many options out there for the 9.7 iPad pro yet (besides iPad air cases, which don't have the camera or speaker cut outs), so this was the only "true" case I found with a pencil holder. After spending a few days with it though, I'm anything but disappointed. I thought the rubberized material would gather lint like my old survivor cases (which is why I didn't but another one of those), but it hasn't! And it's incredibly easy to grip. It stays securely shut thanks to the magnetic closure and it has the automatic on/off feature so many cases are missing. And the stylus holder is on the side, not underneath, which is so much more convent. And you can still add the smart keyboard to it if you want to. All in all, I wish I had bought it the first time I saw it instead of stressing over it so much!

Good sturdy product. Fits well and protects well. It also hold the iPad in place well when placing it on a table or lap.

When I obtained the Pro 9.7" from a friend we desperately searched for a case that was very similar to the otter box series. Truthfully, it is. It converts into a stand for the iPad as it gets ready for typing like a laptop style look. Very worth it if you want to convert the iPad to a laptop type feel by purchasing an iPad keyboard as well. I do have a slight concern with it. Honestly, I wish the case as Military grade it is that this scenario: if you drop the iPad without the cover on it, it will crack/break the screen. I wish the case included some additional screen support. But, if someone has the "cover" on it and the whole case and accidental dropage will result in NO damage. As noted: I will recommend this to someone who is looking for strong study support for an iPad. It is similar to Otter Box in terms of the grade of the case, although the case is similar to the one designed by Apple in terms of the design, the case is NOT silicone type. It's made out of stronger material and I like that. I do not recommend using the case though with the Smart Keyboard setup. You will have to set up the stand twice. The cool part of the case is that it does leave the connector port open in order to do the "Smart Keyboard" attachment for the 9.7", however you will have to set up both stands in order to work and it may make some people concerned and may make them reconsider the purchase.

This is a great case, especially for the money. The "frog skin" material has a good feel to it and that as well as the stitching/construction of the case make it very sturdy and durable. While being sturdy/durable it is very lightweight and not bulky at all. The case props up and folds into a few different angles for viewing in landscape (its not a 360 rotating case so for things in vertical view it either as to lay flat, hold it or find something else to prop it up on). There are no issues with it slipping or sliding when in landscape views. In some reviews people have found the location of the pencil/stylus holder to be a problem...I personally have had no issues with this; so, I suppose that's a personal preference type thing. All the openings for the speakers, ports, buttons and camera line up perfectly. This case is definitely worth every penny and better than some of the more expensive options out there (in my opinion). I would definitely by UAG case products for my other and future devices and I would highly recommend this case for the 9.7 Ipad Pro.

It's a nice folio case. After using Otterbox Defefender cases on each of my different iPads, it's hard to compare the two. The UAG case looks nice & comes with a very interesting guarantee--- impact resistant. The packaging only shows the "impact" if the device is hit on the corners. So, if you're very familiar with any of the Defender cases, you have the ability to toss your iPad around without fear of damaging your electronic. This case will not be able to handle that. The major pro to this case vs. all other cases being marketed for the iPad Pro 9.7 is the fact this case was made specifically for the pro. The case has the proper cutouts for the back camera/flash, all the speakers, volume keys, power button and charging location. It's a lightweight case and the red is very appealing. Overall a nice folio case, but definitely not worth the full price nor will it protect your iPad as good as a Defender case.

Better than expected. Case works well and not bulky. This pretty much has the market since Apples cases are two piece and pricey and Speck's are absolute garbage for the iPad Pro. Also works with auto on-off which is not the case for Speck's. Nice to know it works with Apples keyboard if down the road I get one.

All in all, it does what I expect. Seems reasonably sturdy and the stylus holder works just fine. My only complaint, and hence the one-star ding, is the way the stand functions. The iPad easily slides out of the very shallow notches intended to hold the iPad in place.
