    Great protection

Great protection while not adding too much bulk. My only problem is that it won't stay in an upright position. It's constantly slipping and folding back on its self. Not as sturdy as the iPad Pro 12.9 version

    Descent case for the money

I thinknow the case is nice overall. The only thing I find a bit annoying is the holder for the stylus is in a terrible location. It makes carrying it awkward and it gets in the way when standing it up. It should be placed on top or another location.

Wanted something with great protection but also versatility. Set it up on my desk at work all the time to watch golf and others live streaming. Works great and has spot for the Ipencil too!

    A few major design flaws

    Posted .

In summary, I was looking for a case that would accommodate both the Smart Keyboard AND the Apple Pencil and I thought I had found it in the Urban Armor Gear case, but a few goofy design flaws keep me from recommending this case: (1) The pencil placement, at first glance, looks like a well-chosen location; However, if you opt to use the Smart Keyboard AND Pencil, you quickly expose one of the design flaws - the larger 12.9" iPad Pro case places the Pencil holder on top of the case (when turned horizontal) wot the opposite edge being removable to accommodate the Smart Keyboard; this 9.7" model places it on the removable piece - simply put, if you want to use the Smart Keyboard you forgo any sort of Pencil holder and you're back at square one in finding a case that accommodates both Smart Keyboard and Pencil, in my case. (2) The bottom of the case is too thick to allow you to plug the pencil in. This means every time my Pencil falls out of sync or the battery is low and it needs to be charged, I have to take out the bottom portion of the iPad from the case to charge the Pencil up. At the very least, if you're going to introduce a flaw like this, you should solve it - similar to how Lifeproof ships a headphone jack adapter because it's practically the same complaint with those cases on how recessed they make the headphone jack.

Not a terrible case, but not a great one.

This 9.7" iPad case had a bunch of great reviews online, but it did not live up to them. The material is quite flimsy, and the small attached strap that holds the magnet to clasp it shut feels like it's not extremely secure. When holding the unit with an iPad in it, there's no good way to fold the flap over so that it's not in the way. There's a lot of 'meh' design choices that make using it not altogether intuitive, and its appearance can be slightly misleading. It's designed to look rugged and durable, but I would not trust this to stand any kind of trauma at all. It fits snugly, but that's about all that could help a drop. The product also touts that it is "Drop tested" with a military grade rating, but that is also acutely misleading. I'd advise anyone who is looking to purchase a product with this same claim to research the rating. Look up their military grade rating claim of MIL-STD-810 on Wikipedia. Just claiming it is drop tested to this standard does not mean what it can appear to mean, and after seeing this case first-hand, I'd be severely shocked if it actually is up to actual military standards, because it sure doesn't feel like it to me.

I got this case to use for work and mostly for portsbility, the case itself is strong, tough and reliable, however it may get a bit uncomfortable using it with the cover on the back and the pen in the way. Nice case if you are to purchase for home use, or school or any other use than on the go.

I love that the front flap cover separates from it so you can use keyboard accessories. Protects well and does a fine job of being gripy in your hands and looks pretty nice doing it.

I've had for 2 years and now the glue is failing on the flap. Of course it's out of warranty. I can try and glue it back together or go buy something else.

    MAL SPECIFIED

(Excuse my English, use translation) You are wrong to describe: iPad Pro, iPad Air and iPad Air 2 because it is not compatible !!!!!! I have an iPad Air and is not compatible with the buttons or the headset. Therefore the volume down button gets stuck by the case and microphone NOT HEAR ... appalling!!! Besides the description it says that the closure clip off the screen and is a lie. I demand a solution by best buy. (I do not live in USA. Someone asked me for bringing it to my country)

I bought this cover to use when my iPad wasn't in its Bamboo case. The case works well enough but doesn't stand up too well.

    Magnet caused issues with ipad

    Posted .

Returned my ipad because of an electrical sound. Thought it was a defect. Happened again on the second ipad pro. Looked it up online and someone said it was not an issue with the ipad but with the UAG case. That the magnet caused the issues. Took the ipad out of the case and it worked fine. So only get this if you want to chance having issues. The geek squad treated me like an idiot stating I shouldn't put the ipad near magnets. That is a different issue of them not listening as I was trying to explain the issue I had with the case and whether that exposure from the cases magnet would cause issues later on after I stopped using it.

The Case does not fit securely around the iPad. It is very possible for the case to slip off, offering no protection at all. When will Otterbox come out with a case??
