This case really is tough as nails. Even after repeated abuse.to it it still is clear and has no damage along with my computer

This item is not exactly the most secure protection for the surface book..tends to come apart quite often

I did my homework, but this was the only item available locally. I decided to take a chance and purchase so that my new Surface Book (without performance base) would be protected. Getting it on was hard. I was so afraid of scratching up the computer. I used it for about 2 months, but I was constantly fighting to keep it from sliding off. Let me clarify. I couldn't take it off easily or get it on easily, but it both the top and bottom pieces would slide away from the computer. It was a strange experience, because they were so hard to get on, but they wouldn't stay in place. Finally, one day, i couldn't turn on the computer, since the power button is under the case exterior. The case had wiggled off the top of the "tablet" portion enough that I couldn't push the power button. My husband helped me remove it - just as terrifying as getting it on - "is he going to scratch the finish??" - and he took it off permanently. I wish i had realized how poorly this case was going to work within the return period, because now I'm stuck with an $85 piece of useless plastic.

DOES NOT FIT SURFACE BOOK WITH PERFORMANCE BASE. other than that i guess it works.. never got to try :/

Does not secure to the keyboard base well. Not many options for the surface book though.

Add considerable weight to the surface book which is drawback for this product

I got this to fit my Surface Laptop. It didnt fit, so i returned it.

It is certainly protective but increases the weight significantly.

I can't seem to get the fit quite right. I can only assume this will affect performance in a moderate to severe impact. Wish the tablet part has some kind of built in kickstand.

I find it odd that this case will only fit the 13.5" computer. I had first ordered this case then had to return it once it arrived because it was too small for my 15" surfacebook 2. The case had nice structure and seemed as if it would offer good protection for my computer, but I was upset when it arrived and it didn't fit. I think it should be stated more boldly that this case is only available for the 13.5" screen. I wish UAG would come out with this case for the 15".

I've had a hard time finding a case for my Surface Book. I hoped this would be a good option, despite it's very hefty price tag. I was thoroughly disappointed. The case was heavy and bulky, and didn't do anything to protect the screen when separated from the base. I returned it and bought a cheap sleeve on Amazon.

not for the surface book performance based. Not made for it and it doesnt fit and very hard to put on the monitor / tablet part. and added enough weight I dont even want to use it. Maybe it works great with something else , just not with this one. And i was told it would work - that is why i got it.

Geek could not get this item to properly fit on the detachable screen

This made me feel a bit nervous about flipping it to tablet mode. It felt as though it would close all the way and I was afraid that it would cause a lot of strain on the hinge. I'm going to return this first chance I get.

It is very very very difficult to install and will not fit properly after numerous attempts - am an engineer, woodworker, miller, and can work with my hands very well. This product is ugh. I ended up returning it.

I was assisted in making this purchase by a sales rep. When I got home, I found that it did not fit. After reading reviews, I realized that this was a common problem.

Microsoft sales rep recommended the cover but soon found out that it didn't fit. I have the the larger book :/
