    I thought that we could just pair the Apple Pencil 1st gen with the iPad 10th gen by using a lightning to USB-C cable but it would not work. Had to buy this adapter to get it to pair.

    works well if you have a first gen pen it is easy to lose because it is so small so keep that in mind

    When you have an iPad 10th gen and turns to find out you need this little piece just to keep using an Apple Pencil. Apple done it again with making you send a little more just to make things work.
