This movie was okay, I did expect more special effects. A good movie to watch once.

very odd even for scifi. seems to be a mix of several other movies

I wasn't too impressed with this relase. I had seen it in theaters and was excited to experience it in HDR 4K quality at home. However, I was a bit disappointed... It's definitely not as 'crispy' as other 4K prints I have. As for the movie, story is solid. My rec: wait for this to end up in the bargain bin, not worth $25/30.

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets is gorgeous addition to any 4k UHD collection.

Movie is a little weak plot is a little strange but was on sale so gave it a shot

kind of slow to start, maybe we just need to replay it someday and the movie will improve.

I'm a huge fan of Besson's The Fifth Element, so I was really excited when I saw the trailer for Valerian. Unfortunately, this movie lacks the magic of Fifth Element - it's poorly written, and the two leads are wooden and unconvincing in their roles. May be worth it to some for the visuals alone, but that's about it.
