I really enjoyed this movie. It is one of the best sci fi films in a while. It has a plot and is not just people fighting nonstop. It would not be for everyone but if you like Star Trek you will probably like this movie. This version (4K) is really fantastic. Space films always look much more realistic in this format

I purchased this solely because of the director and one of his past films, The Fifth Element. While it was wrong for me to believe this would even compare to that cult classic, this movie was doomed from the get go for me. While the graphics/CGI re breathtaking, the movie itself just didn't grab me like I had hoped. The story was all over the place, got dull at times, and just wasn't fun. I would recommend watching this for free on a streaming service before you decide if you want to buy it or not.

I had not seen this flick yet but heard it was great eye candy. The steel was a real eye catcher and I had to have it. the movie was beautiful and goofy enough to keep me interested in what would happen.

As a science fiction fan I really enjoyed this movie. The 4k blu-ray has excellent picture and sound. The only downside is the digital copy has to be redeemed through Vudu.

It's got a different twist to this movie that make a it worth watching at least once. Seems it's a like it, or hate it, type of movie...really not a whole lot of room for an inbetween...but I enjoyed it.

I was not sure what I was getting into as many cast members were new to me and really new on screen. Yet, the director got them to work very fluidly with some funny points along the way. So yes there is action, adventure, but also some humor thrown in as well with Rihanna as the mysterious Bubbles. Got to see it.

It will be an icon for sifi movie for this decade. Great contents and advanced sifi theory is the foundation. The pace of the movie is just right for it. Don't get you bored and also explain enough. Highly recommend to put it on you collection shelf!

The effects were great and the chemistry between the main characters was nice. Although he can get annoying with his pushy attitude at times. The film was fun and adventurous. A good watch.

This movie didn't do real well at the theaters, but it is good entertainment. I saw it on the big screen and couldn't quite understand why it didn't do better at the box office. I bought the Blue Ray.

One of the best movies to showcase a 4k TV. While the story is lacking and the acting is subpar the look of the movie is jaw dropping. Too bad the story doesn't match the visual spectacle.

I found this movie to be very entertaining. It is easy to watch and has light humor to make it more enjoyable. It has wonderful color and sound. The aliens are great.

One of my favorite movies. Not the best 4K transfer but it’s decent and the atmos is decent.

Bought the 4K as I wanted the 4K digital copy . Alas the link to download would not open . Tried 10-15 times . Such a waste .

Expensive and impressively, colorfully designed, this sci-fi/action movie is frequently silly and not always very smart, but it has a joyous exuberance and a sheer, dizzy love of the genre.

One of my most seen favorite movies! Amazing storyline, refreshingly new. Great graphics!! Have seen many times and shared my DVD with family members to enjoy as well. Some of whom purchased their own to keep in their library!!

The movie gets a score of "3", but the eye candy rates a high "5". Good (not great) story, could have been improved with 30-40 minutes of additional editing, but WOW is it fun to watch!

Fun movie. Very interesting storyline. Kept me entertained throughout. Movies at Best Buy are easy to find as the movie section is alphabetical. When you’re on a tight time schedule it affords you extra time to shop for other items to purchase.

Altho this movie didn't break any box office records, I thought it was really a good movie. I loved all the special effects. The only thing I didn't like was the extended dance sequence of Rhianna. I loved the story - I loved the special effects. Great!

The two main Characters are a bore, and I'm glad. They didn't distract from the centerpiece of the movie, the World built around them. You can tell a lot of thought went into world building and very little (if any) time is "wasted" on exposition. Just one awkward part toward the beginning. I got over it.

This movie is based on an older french comic and I found it to have a lot of imagination. It's a simple movie, but the effects are fun if not a little cartoonish, and I like the technologies and world building within the movies world. It was good enough to prompt me into buying the Anime series too.
