This movie has some decent special effects, but story line is ..... meh

I have watched this movie so many times and still never get tired of watching it again and again. For me, the story is great. I wish I could read the comic book version to find the similarities and differences (but many says it’s in French). Anyhow, great movie!

could have been better, the supporting actors should of had more depth

The 4k presentation of this film is a vast improvement over the dvd or blu ray. By far the best way to view it. If you're a Luc Beeson fan, definitely a recommended pickup!

Not very good story .. pretty to look at maybe should have been 2 movies

Luc Besson's witty, well acted, sci-fi epic is well worth your 2+ hours. It has some flaws but if you like character and whimsy in your flicks, there is no shortage of that.

Story line was pretty good. Special effects we're good. Acting not great.

This movie has great graphics. The movie itself is a sci if one to watch.

If you are a fan of the fifth element, and sci-fi in general, then this movie is right for you. while the story can get a bit confusing, might have to watch it again to follow in the plot, the over all experience was astonishing! the CGI is beautiful and the world these filmmakers made is breathtaking !

Valerian is one of those movies that is so visual that you can't turn away from it. It grab's at you and keeps you in your seat, at least until you hit the pause bottom on your remote. I want to say, some people don't like the 4K, but it added to the visual special effects for this movie, plus I guy any movie in the 4K version if available, so I was really excited when this became available. Get this, put it on, and get ready for a very clear ride!

I bought this simply because of the director, who directed my favorite movie of all time: The Fifth Element. I was not disappointed with this movie! Didn't know it was based on a comic series either, which was nice to learn. The alien species are varied and interesting, and watching it all in glorious 4k is stunning.

So so movie. Little Avatar type thrown in. Most will like it.

Of course, this is not the Marvel or Warner Bros. worlds of super heroes, but it's just as legit and actually more surprising and entertaining for its quirkiness and the amazing renditions of creatures and colors. Did I expect a deep-consciousness plot? Of course not, but I did pay attention and had loads of fun!

This film received some flack for being way over budget with not much content to it. But its still fun in its own French director ways. Same kind of tone as The Fifth Element but for younger viewers. Feels a little long and drugged out in places. But good enough for a boring Saturday viewing at home.

This movie isn't to bad but its not great. But this movie in 4K looks amazing! If you can find it at a good cheap sale price, especially on black Friday, get it!

I had a good time watching this movie but the fact that they have to interact in a parallel universe was just weird It was different but that seemed like a throw up on the wall and see if it sticks idea. That part of I didn't like. I think they should have made this into a TV series instead.

Great visuals, just an average story, and horrible main casting.
