The plot was thin and the acting was terrible. I would recommend you bypass this one.

Pick-up is always nice because I get greeted and treated as a valued customer. The package was in one piece and not broken, or in any way defect, and the DVD played through without any issues. Oh, and the movie was good too! Happy with this purchase.

Let me first say that the Special Effects were a blast and that was the best part of the movie. The acting was subpar, but then again who is expecting Oscar material here, right? The "leading man" aka Dane DeHaan was a complete miscast. Not quite on level with Jesse Eisenberg in BvS, but VERY, VERY close. There are reviewers stating no chemistry between the leads and I place that blame on the DeHaan miscast as Delevingne proves she can "have chemistry' (see Suicide Squad). I got this on 4K during the Black Friday sale and that was about right in terms of price for this movie. Again if you take this film for light sci-fi fare then you will have a good time. The older kids will enjoy it.

Fun show by Luc Besson, acclaimed director of The Fifth Element. Interesting space aliens abound in the most expensive French production made to date. Lots of action. Enjoyable movie and my teenage daughter liked it.

I saw this movie with my 9 year old daughter when it came out in theater and had high expectations from the previews. However, here's the good and bad. Good: Visually stunning and if you enjoy sci-fi in general, there will be things about this movie that you will like, maybe even love. Bad: Character development was poor and they tried to do too much. The main character, Valerian, is suppose to be a James Bond type character but he's a kid...This one had so much potential but falls flat. Worth a rental if you like the genre.

This sci-fi movie has a joyous exuberance with loves and obstacles. It is certainly not lack of stunning actions.

Overall the movies really good, great special effects. great story. the stillbooks are really nice but I also want a great picture. so a 4K steelbook offering would have been very nice.

As B4 - Not a bad Sci-Fi movie - i recommend it if u like Sci-Fi stuf.

I did not know what to expect from this movie, it became one of favorites. It reminded me of the 5th element movie.

Based on the movie trailer I had super high hopes for this movie. While I enjoyed the movie, the lead actor did not give a very good performance. The look of the movie is fantastic and almost makes up for the bad acting.

Rented this on a Google play movies $.99 any movie deal. Couldn't even finish it. Bad, just really bad. I'm a huge sci-fi guy and can usually get past some really stupid, poorly done stuff if all else is worthwhile, but this was just pure garbage. Not sure how it's getting good reviews. Junk plot, far to rediculous in imagery, story line, dialog etc and trying to take the 12 year old kid as the lead "Major" was a bit much. Bad, really bad.
