I had just gotta a new account for steam and wanted to buy some games on it using a gift card instead of a bank card. I will say that it was difficult considering I couldn't find the card, but Best Buy had my back and I was able to find the card with such ease. It was worth every dollar and recommend to others. Especially, if there's a sale on steam.

What is better than purchasing a Steam Wallet card? Purchasing it at a discount (albeit a small one). Load it up on your account and wait for those Summer and Christmas sales to hit the site.

If you're not buying this to give someone, why buy a Steam Wallet Card for yourself over other payment options? 1) Must use cash Valve can't take cash, but Best Buy can, so buying a Steam Wallet Card with cash is the only way to spend cash on Steam 2) No credit/debit card or supported financial account See number 1 3) You don't trust Valve with your payment info You'd rather go through Best Buy's payment process of getting a Steam Wallet Card instead of purchasing directly from Valve. In any case, you'll end up with the face value of the card after redeeming the scratch off code on your Steam account.

Absolutely can't go wrong with a steam gift card. Safer way to buy PC games then adding a credit card. Also makes for a great gift.

Exactly what it says it is. I only play a few computer games and I like to limit the number of companies that actually have my credit card info, so I buy these.

I had $20 in Rewards Certificates to spend. They were expiring soon. Time was running out. I had a game on my Steam wishlist. It cost right around $20 thru Steam. I couldn't get it through Best Buy. What could I do? If only there were a way to somehow turn that certificate into Steam funds. But how? Then I had my "chocolate-peanut butter" moment. The two became one. $50 is $50...... but its so much more. Its an escape into a Steam Summer Sale or Winter Sale where glory is held and achieved away from the environment of the "outside" world. Away from those loved ones that chastise us for our hobbies, away from the harsh realities of the real world. Nay, here is the digital reality, a place for our souls to go and reap hours of entertainment or enjoyment or that new item to escape and TRULY enjoy....every....precious....living....second....until we must venture out and quest for $50 in real life. Because there are games to be enjoyed, badges to be crafted, sales to partake in....Gaben is love, Gaben is life.
