For current Steam users, there's not really any need to review this. This review is aimed at relatives and friends looking for a flexible gift option for a PC gamer. While a gift card may not be a very personal gift, it has the potential to offer the recipient a number of great experiences. Steam often has sales offering fantastic games at incredibly low prices. A $20 gift card can actually go pretty far. If you're looking for something to get the gamer in life, I strongly recommend this. It's easy, flexible, and might just be the incentive to pick up that game they've been wanting for a while now.

I was really happy to see that I could get a STEAM gift card at Best Buy. My son was so happy and surprised to get it.

The steam package is a affordable platform for decent games at a good price

This was the only "real" gift we purchased for our college aged son that he will use right away and was looking for. Thank goodness the day I purchased this card, there was but one, sorry all you others. He purchased a game right and is playing it as I write this review.

The Steam Gift Card was the best gift for my gamer son especially since I didn’t know what games he had nor all the games he wanted at Christmas.

Great place to buy steam cards only wish they didn’t put a limit of four. Other retailers charge more than face value which is wrong I’m my own personal opinion.

Bought the card for my son who plays his games. The price was very reasonable and it's easy to load.

Worked without issue or confusion. Seal on back of card can be peeled off rather than scratched off with a coin, lowering the risk of damaging the code on the back. I do wish the other variants were available at the time of purchase, however.

My daughter was looking for a gift for a planned gift exchange with friends at Christmas. We looked everywhere for Steam cards, but Best Buy was the only one who had them. It was great when her friends got their gifts; she received nothing in return because they “forgot.” This card now represents the spirit of one-way gifting. Enjoy.

My 15 year old son bought this to download Steam games and to buy add-ons/kits for some games he already has. I didn't think the $20 would go very far, but he told me everything he bought with it and he still has a balance left over. I realize the game was a simplistic game, but he is a fan of the indie games or the mini-release ones for when he doesn't want to spend hours on online campaigns. He was able to take the "coin" card idea a little further with this one than some of the other online cards and I can appreciate the flexibility in that. He's happy, I'm happy.

My son loves every time I gift this to him. Is a safe way to buy online games for pc instead of been using your credit card or other card. Extremely recommended for Christmas, birthday or Father’s Day too if you have a gamer husband too. Do like me, if you don’t know what to gift, buy a gift card and let them buy what they want or need.

I bought this for my 13 y.o. son. This solves the issue of having to constantly put my credit card info in for every new game he wants to buy, because I do not want to have my credit card on file and have him go on a shopping spree of games! He can load it up and buy the games he wants after he loads the card into his Steam account. So much more simpler and convenient. My son now gives me his chore money to purchase more Steam cards for him . It is like having a credit account for him on Steam. It also teaches him how much things cost and how he chooses to spend his money for games. Great learning tool!
