Gift cards are always appreciated. The Steam gift card is a good option when you do know what to buy for a gamer.

I got it discounted on Best Buy's eBay store at a discounted price. In-store pickup worked fine.

I HATE giving my credit card number to my kids for anything. It always turns out to be some automatic renewal program and I don't notice it until it is too late. I now buy Microsoft point and membership gift cards, playstation point gift cards, itunes cards, and Steam gift cards. They can't spend money you do not have. It is way too easy for your kids to click on something and rack up your credit card bill with all of these games. Get the card.

Perfect gift! Best buy seemed to be the only that carried this. Easy use for my nephew.

This is a truly magical device! I don't know how they do it, but I purchased this device in the store for $20. When I got home, the device showed me a magic code, that when entered in the proper place in the mystical application know as Steam, $20 magically appeared in my wallet there. Technology truly never ceases to amaze me!!!

Got it as gifts. Looks like they were able to redeem it. Also arrived earlier than expected.

Just 100$ to spent on steam. Use it right after buying it to minimize the chances of losing it.

I followed the instructions on the back of the card and it added it to my Steam wallet. It doesn't say what denomination of coin to use to scratch off but I used a dime because of the serrated edge. A penny might work but have not tried yet. If you don't have a coin you will want to find something with a flat edge. Some recommendations would be a butter knife, A scewdriver (standard not philips), or a really flat rock.

There's really not much to say about this card. It loads fine to my Steam Wallet. So why bother with this? In my case, I do it for the Kroger Fuel points. Kroger does not sell Steam cards, so I what do is buy a Best Buy gift card from Kroger, which gives me fuel points and also 6% cash back with my AMEX Blue Cash card, and then go to Best Buy and buy this card. It sounds like a hassle but anything I can save is worth it.

Steam cards are great way to go now since it is next to impossible to get much in the way of software locally anymore. I've been complaining about Best Buy's poor PC software for years but they have given up trying at this point. Anyway, I spend enough there to get reward checks and between this and an occasional sale where these cards will be discounted 5-10% (and then we get the points for buying them) then this is the way to go.

Great gift, blah, blah, blah. Look, when the Steam summer sale is on, and you've already exhausted your bank account and other credit cards; using your rewards points for this card is a great way to buy that early release Alpha that you'll never play, but complain about incessantly about lack of developer support. Either that or random loot boxes from EA. Whatever floats your boat.

From what I understand, it's basically my nephew's generation of pinball/video game tokens; and this is what my nephew wanted for his birthday, and was QUITE tickled that he got it... so He's happy with it, which was the goal. I personally DID NOT like the fact that the card was simply heavier paper stock...I expected something more like a standard gift card (plastic) but I guess it's more environmentally friendly this way...

Always loads the appropriate amount of money to my Steam acct. Good quality card stock. Never been easier to scratch and reveal the card number!

The product is good and works as designed. I was expecting a little more from the quality of materials it’s printed on. The image quality is excellent on the front and has a clear indication of what this gift card is intended for. The numbers printed on the back are quite legible. The backing you are required to remove leaves a little more residue behind than I would’ve liked. But overall the product works as advertised and contains the correct amount of money.

My son plays online games. I buy these cards so I can limit the money spent on games. He can only spend the amount on the card, no surprises for me. It serves as a great control mechanism.
