These Steam cards are great for the sales that constantly happen, very easy to use.

It's a challenge for me to find gifts that my teenage and college age relatives will like. The Steam gift card is the perfect answer! I didn't know exactly what it was but was told that my nephew would love one. Best Buy customer service was so helpful, explaining what Steam was and helping me determine the right amount. If you've never used Steam as a distributor of your PC games, you are missing out. They keep a running catalog of your games and let you play them on any PC you are able to download and install onto. I purchased Orange Box with part of my "wallet" and already had Half-Life 2. Steam allowed me to gift the extra copy of the game to any member of Steam that I wanted to. Pretty cool!

This is a great way to avoid using your credit card when you want to buy credits on MMOs for in game stuff. Most online games use Steam as a payment method. Also, when you buy direct from the game you don't get any bonuses unless there is a special offer but when you buy a Steam card at Best Buy you get points all the time every day. You also get 2x points from Best Buy's gamer club program!

It's a gift card that gets you funds into a Steam wallet. Sometimes worth picking one of these up if you regularly get things on Steam and also want something on sale for under the $35 that gets you free shipping. This will ship to you as a physical item and can get you over that $35 threshold.

My only gripe about this product is that Best Buy should implement an email delivery service for the purchase of these digital Steam Gift Cards.. I would buy a ton if I didn't have to wait for it to be delivered/drive to the store to pick up. There is little benefit to buying this from Best Buy instead of Steam Store unless they implement email delivery of these.
