If you like to play games on your computer these cards are terrific. I bought the most part of a romance scam so I really threw my money away although some thieves were thrilled. When people say beware of a scam the response should be what are you talking about what do you mean? I didn’t know and it didn’t make any sense to me. Best Buy is always wonderful and they’ve always been good to me. I wish that company a very successful new year!

My husband doesn't have a disk drive in his computer, so we were trying to find the best way to purchase a digital copy of a PC game while still using Best Buy. We decided on a Steam card, since this would also link the game to his account. The purchase and later transaction was quick and simple. Will definitely buy again. Great way to turn your Reward Zone points into Steam cash!

I prefer to use these, so that I dont have to link my bank card to my Steam account. I like steam since I use a desktop and laptop and I can play the desktop remotely or if I am on travel (which i do a lot in the Navy), I can download the progress from my desktop to my laptop. Then when my laptop connects to wireless it will update my desktop progress.

I appreciate having the option to buy Steam cards as a way to use my Best Buy reward certificates. However, it would be nice if there was a better value that $1 to $1, at least on larger cards. Some gift cards run deals where if you buy the $50 card you get a $5 card thrown in or something to that effect. There is really no incentive to buy a more expensive card since you could just buy things with a credit card on the Steam website. That incentive would encourage people to buy Steam cards which guarantees they will spend that money on Steam. That is important as there are many, many websites for purchasing digital PC games besides Steam these days. Incentives will keep loyal customers coming back to Steam.

I got this card for my husband for Christmas. He plays games from Steam, and with this card he was able to download two good games. Instead of buying a game (and risking that he might not like it and will have to return), this card gave me an opportunity to give him something he really likes, and at the same time gave him a chance to chose what he wants. Result = everyone is happy!

We had accumulated enough points to receive a $20 gift certificate and decided to buy this gift card. This was our first time using steam and didn't know what to expect in terms of quality and quantity. There is a great variety of games available and at different price points so there's sure to be something for everyone. Buying the gift card was easy enough.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. I can't find anywhere to buy these cards. And they are perfect for him. He's an over the road trucker and can only play games on his laptop to kill down time. I text him the numbers on the card and he can go play with the funds I just got for him. Plan on buying more for his upcoming birthday, christmas, anniversary too. All three so close to each other.

It's hard to write a gift card. It is made of cardboard and plastic and has some numbers to be scratched off and makes money appear on Steam when used. I do like that it was available at Best Buy, because that is far more convenient than waiting for a gift card through the mail. Also like that there is no up charge for gift cards anymore when you buy them in the stores.
