I also discovered that once you purchase a game with Steam, you can still download and play that game if you buy a new computer. They also have frequent sales for software, so be on the lookout for those. I highly recommend Steam to anyone who like to have some fun on their computer.

You'll earn rewards points for buying discounted Steam stuff this way. Bonus if you have some sort of rewards credit card too! Also, these cards come in handy for those who don't have credit cards or aren't ready for them, like kids and high schoolers. This is also ideal for your gaming buddies if you're out of gift ideas.
