I had recently saved up $20 in Best Buy reward certificates -- not enough to buy a cool electronic toy, but I knew that you can get Steam cards from Best Buy. I had no idea that they cost less than the actual amount of the card. I purchased a $50 Steam for $47.50! Since the PC game selection has dwindled over the years (and can't even compare to the regular Steam sales), getting a Steam card was a no-brainer. If you're a game junkie and get reward certificates and/or gift cards - consider purchasing a Steam card with it!

Nice to get Best Buy points for something I need anyway. Get a game and best buy points with no effort.

These are always good for a Steam Wallet fill up, and you can earn an extra few points on your Best Buy membership towards certificates. I recommend always write the date and time you activate the cards on Steam, and save your Steam cards somewhere, because they can be used as account proof-of-ownership on Steam if your account is ever compromised (it happens).

Had to contact Steam support because the code on the back wore off. This isn't best buys fault because I bought one from another store and had the same issue.

I use this as alternative to attaching my cards into my Steam account. Easy to activate, no tax. Simple

You don't get much for $20.00 on Steam!! My son likes PC games, so I buy these cards, but I would rather pay for an XBox One, or PS4 game. He gets "kicked off" if his Internet lags, or he gets called away from the game. Any type of weapon upgrade cost A BUNCH OF MONEY... I think he should stick to the game system games and stop the PC madness.

My son and friends are able to play together on steam and this is a great present for those teenage gamers!
