Honestly, my husband and I purchase these in anticipation (especially when there's a sale on them) of upcoming Steam Sales. We don't go nuts, but it's nice to have that value in your pocket for when a few titles on your wishlist go down in price.

Best Buy was open and they had them in stock even in the rush before Christmas. Perfect for when your son doesn't tell you until the night before that he needs to get a birthday present. (Everyone else only had $50 and $100 cards since it was close to Christmas)

these are the best if you have some spare cash laying around and want to indulge on the fabulous Steam Summer Sale which ended a while ago but Steam has fantastic sales everyday and the card always works so no complaints here :)

Best Buy is one of the few places that sell physical Steam gift cards, so I'm very happy. They also had different prices of cards, unlike other stores. I didn't see a $20 gift card anywhere else. A quick, easy gift for PC gamers!

My kids ask for Steam cash anytime they get allowance money or a gift. I prefer not to put my credit card on their accounts because my youngest has shown a propensity for getting his account hacked. Steam Cash is a great alternative to adding a credit card to his account.
