I purchased 2 of these cards for my kids for Christmas. Only to find out the cards were not able to activate on steam. I spent days contacting Steam support to resolve the activation issue. Steam was finally able to resolve this and the account balances showed in my kids steam wallet. The kids may some small purchases of $1.98. Then the next day their accounts show zero balance. The money left in their account simply disappeared. I checked their account history/store purchases and sure enough there were no additional purchases made yet their accounts now reflect a zero balance. Recommend avoiding these, they are a lot of trouble and apparently a rip off as you will lose your money.

It's $50 in Steam credit. No frills. If that's what you need, this is the perfect purchase.

Went to my local best buy and purchased my first $50 steam card. I went home to apply the code and I was meat with an invalid code error. There was a 0 in the code so I attempted an O to no avail. I had purchased a $20 card a few days earlier and applied that code with no problems. I searched forums and found that sometimes it takes a while, hours, to be able to use. Activation time or something. I went about my day and this evening I tried again to no avail. Not sure whom to contact but for anyone who reads this please be sure to verify the code has been activated by the cashier as I believe that to be my issue.

This is a steam card. I use it to buy games on steam. Games on steam are fun.

I ordered 3 of these. NONE of them worked. After hours on the phone with Best Buy and Steam we ended up taking the cards back to the store for a refund. I still don't know what the problem was. We live an hour away, so that was 2 hours travel time. Not Happy!!
