    I bought 3 Steam gift cards for my son. They were never activated by Best Buy. When my son told me he couldn't use them, I contacted Best Buy and they said the activation window had passed and they could no longer be activated. What a waste.

    My son is going to RIT for imaging and video game design, but half the fun is playing the games. Steem apparently has betas you can download as well.

    My son can purchase anything that he wants. He would wait for games to go on sale and buy it. There is no expiration on the card. Card is very convenient. Very good buy.

    I've never used a steam card but it's basically the same experience as using a PSN card. Redeem on Steam and don't worry about using a credit card. Awesome.
