It redeems to your steam wallet. You just go to Games>Redeem a Steam Wallet Code... and enter the code on the card. The stuff that covers the code on the card can be peeled off but shouldn't. It makes it extremely hard or impossible to read. You should scrap it off with something. I used my Best Buy rewards certificates to buy a Steam Wallet card and it seemed like a good trade.

Great gift for those who play PC games and have a bunch of games in their Steam library wishlist. Unfortunately, Best Buy does not stock the $50 gift card anymore.

Placed order online, went in store and was in and out in two minutes. Had no issues with card when applying to account.

I always buy these at Best Buy and use them for my steam purchases (instead of a C.C. #) that way i get what i want off steam but still get my best buy rewards points for the money spent. Not to mention when they go on sale its like selling you a $20 bill for $19. Match that sale to the awesome sales they have on steam and its a win/win.

i bought it after Christmas didn't care about the long lines in best buy because the only thing i cared about was getting me something great for gaming so i bought the steam wallet card , it was perfect small , looks very nice and steam finally can give the opportunity to finally not use your credit cards unlike some other companies for gaming like origin , this card is also good to buy i bought 5 games that were on a big steam sale all of them together $50 i bought red orchestra 2 , day of defeat source , battlefield 2 , arma 2 combined operations , and star wars empire at war and it made my day and its all thanks to this card that still keeps my life fun in the gaming industry :)

Not much to really say about this. It's $50 worth of Steam credit for $50. Simple enough. Helpful for two main reasons IMO: (1) You don't have a credit card or Paypal and want to make purchases through Steam, or (2) You simply don't want to give Valve your credit card information and want to turn real cash into Steam cash.

I want to praise Customer Service. I called and spoke with Sebastian who said the cards had never been activated before they were sent, thus they would never work. He activated them and they work now.
