After I bought this giftcard here, it didn’t work.

I bought these for a gift for my son. He had some trouble redeeming them because the numbers came off with the peel off cover, but was able to recover them. Poor design!

Shipping out unactivated steam wallet gift cards that require 40 minutes on hold to resolve is lame.

I assume it works my issue was the picking label is glued to the card....kinda ruins the gift in a way.

Buyer Beware. Purchased online, cards were not activated and did not work. Best Buy refused to refund or replace.

Brought these 3 steam cards for Christmas gifts and they do not work, as cards were not activated before shipping

Ordered a Steam Gift Card for my nephew. It arrived within the expected timeframe. However, the card did not work! Okay, that is bound to happen. How do you get a refund? Best Buy has suggestions, but none of them worked. So I purchased a product from Best Buy, an it failed, but they cannot provide a refund on that transaction? In addition, on three occasions it was difficult to get in touch with a human being. I'm fine with sending an email and getting a response within a week, They couldn't do that. Also, attempted via chat, Facebook, and multiple phone calls. Just for a simple refund on a product they sold me. Apparently, they think my time is not valuable because they have wasted a lot of it! Best Buy, why would I shop with you again?

The card was not able to be activated. I purchased it as a gift for my son. When he called Best Buy, he was told that I had to call and request that the card be activated.

I ordered a $50 Steam gift card for my son's birthday. He received it today and cannot get it to work. I called customer service and talked to a lady who I had a hard time understanding, but she understood me. Apparently the card was not activated. Now my son has to wait 30 minutes to see if it works.

This laptop is poooooos. It is slow and freezes. Very unhappy

Our two $50 Steam Wallet cards bought 4 days ago are not being accepted on their website. We have made multiple attempts over 5 hours, only to get 'unexpected error' messages each time. Steam will still take PayPal account money but we have not been able to get these cards recognized, despite having a receipt showing the payment and last 4 digits of each card. The Steam Support web page has been useless - it won't even accept our typed messages/questions, though playing online is still possible. Perhaps just a server glitch, but so far nothing but a pain and a waste of money. I can hardly wait to stand in the post-holiday return line. Will update if a favorable resolution can be had.

Those stream wallet card are worth lessi sent to friends and they didn't work

Incredibly difficult to purchase a gift card from them. You have to provide a photo, a photo ID, an order # (apparently they can't link correspondence to an order). Tried to purchase a gift card for my nephew and it took 5 emails back and forth with them continuing to ask for additional information. I finally gave up. Send your friends and family a check, Venmo or credit card instead. This company is HORRIBLE!!!!

Got this a few days ago and the card what not activated before shipped to me. Was told to wait 24hours as it could be awhile before it activated. Waited 2 days and tried again. Still not working. No clue what to do so i guess I'm going to spend the next few days calling support and getting the run around. Never going to buy a card from bestbuy ever again.

I ordered this for my son for his b-day. When he scratched off to reveal the code it took part of the numbers/letters off so he can'tuse it. I called BB and they said I have to go to the store which is an hour away. I wish there was a way to get a new one without driving to the store.

Card wasn’t activated prior to shipped. Was a Christmas gift. I got I call that they tried to redeem but it having problems. My friend in another state had to work with Best Buy to resolve. Huge headache and unnecessary.

The card not working? Why I paid my money for it???????? My grandson upset it’s not working. Please tell me why not???????
