Bought it in store. Loaded it onto my steam wallet via desktop. Then went about making purchases later. When the balance in my steam wallet wasn't sufficient, Steam let me choose how to pay the remaining balance. I chose Paypal, and checked out as normal. I think this is pretty convenient. Both as a way of giving gifts, and of online shopping without giving up your info.
