This was a gift for a co-worker as a secret santa gift and the code on the back of the card worked as expected when they redeemed it later on when they got home and purchased two new games.

The kids get to choose their own games (what is acceptable to our family of course) without asking me constantly. They make decisions about what to buy and how much it costs and learn to manage their own money wisely.

Perfect with Steam! Wait for the game discounts to pay the best prices. Be sure to have an extensive Wishlist on your account. Also best used with Game Bundles during the different sales throughout the year.

the cards have been sitting in the store for a while and the redemption numbers came off with the sticker. had to contact support to use them.

Bought 2 steam cards for my brother, for Christmas. Only a bit disappointed that they don't have a 25-100$ option, as I wanted to spend 40$ but had to purchase 2 separate cards.

Does exactly what it's supposed to, hassle-free. Steam support has been stepping up its game lately (especially with their new return policy!); it's nice to have so much confidence in a digital platform company.

I bought two of them because the game that I wanted was $40. Best Buy surprisingly doesn't charge extra for the gift cards, they charge the correct amount. (e.g. $40 gift card for $40 not some crazy amount like $50)

Love these cards. They are no nonsense and work perfectly.

The Steam system seems to work out fine. It is a way of really going through disk space, however. It seems that pointing away from the C drive is an important step to not fill up the operating system volume.

I'm a big fan of buying these cards. While online systems are fairly safe, i like loading money on and knowing only this money is available. Stops me from spending too much. Thankful best buy carries them.

$50 towards Steam? Yes please! Easily activated and a god purchase. Had a gift card to spare and knew I’d be buying a PC game in the near future. Easy purchase and did what it’s supposed to.

fast, simple, & easy. really no difference here then adding the amount directly through steam. beside you can you use cash to purchase these and the extra reward points earned from buying it through BB instead.

My kids were looking for these cards. Best Buy was the only store in the area that had them in stock. Plus as a rewards member I get points for the kids buying the cards, to get the games they want to play.

This option is great for parents to provide their child the ability to make a purchase without the security risk of providing a credit card! Kids earn it and we don't end up with monthly recurring charges!
