I have gotten a few of these cards and they are a better option than putting in your credit card information into Steam. It is secure so you can put in your card info, but I personally don't want to so I get these. Steam also has $50 and $100 cards besides the $20 card. I recommend the $20 because you can have more of a choice in the amount you have in your account, for example if you want 3 games that come to $35 in total you'll have $5 left in your wallet from 2 of these cards vs $15 from a $50 card. Now, it is nice to have money in your wallet but in the slight chance they get hacked or anything, you have less in your account and have less a chance of being attacked. Also, this is a great way to get a few games if you don't have much money. If you're new to Steam, I recommend going through your queue a few times or waiting for a sale. They have sales all the time, and probably some big ones coming up soon for the holidays, I suggest to wait another month if you can for a holiday sale.

The gift cards worked.
Would be 5 Star, but you can no longer buy an amount you want or a $50 by itself. So to get $50 you have to buy a $20 and a $30, which is a little silly.
