    My son used to get money for weekly chores. Now he just wants to be paid in steam cards. He enjoys the ease of downloading and can sometimes get games that are no longer available (or supported) by the game creator.

    My husband purchased this as a gift card for me for Christmas. I wanted the Star Wars: Battlefront (PC) Season Pass, the sales agent said that they had it on Steam, it wasn't there. Other Star Wars games were (but not even the newest game itself). I ended up buying the newest expansion for EverQuest (that was listed, but not anything extended like Daybreak has), since I had some left on a 50 dollar gift card, I decided to get some games that I thought would be enjoyable, which are Portal 1 and 2, Tomb Raider (2013)-DLC for that as well. But the lack of really good games for Steam is much to be desired, I'm a gamer but I do choose wisely.
