It worked! Can't say I'm surprised but I'm always happy to see retail brick and mortar stores making it easier for consumers to access digital content with their cash.

If you're buying this hopefully you know about Steam. In short this is a good deal if you're a savvy Steam user and wait for their summer bust out sales or the winter sales where you can see markdowns of 75% on some items. Also Steam features quite a hefty indie game market and using steam to purchase things from free-to-play game markets is pretty seamless. And they also offer expansions to existing games. If you're a pc gamer you know what I'm talking about.

There isn't much to say really, using a Debit/Credit card for payments on Steam has always been a complete headache for me, so getting a Wallet Card is the best way to go when purchasing from steam, aside from using PayPal. No more unnecessary calls to the bank when purchases get flagged and no waiting periods when trying to use a different card as payment, plus it helps prevent you from going over your budget during the seasonal sales.

This is a very convenient way to earn points on both steam and bestbuy using your bestbuy card. Its a win win.

It does exactly what it is supposed to do. Do you honestly need a review for this? Do you not know how gift cards work? I wanted $$ for my Steam Wallet, I got it. Yay.

There is one thing I'll say about the Steam gift card... There is no built-in method of presentation. By that I mean, you can't fold it and make it a little present. Many Best Buy cards have that. So if you buy this as a gift you'll need to take a moment and get something to present it. Unless you're an uncouth mouth breather who just hands gifts to people unwrapped. :)

My son loves playing Steam games on his PC. We have found that using Steam wallet cards are a convenient and more secure alternative. We've never had any issues redeeming codes from Steam cards purchased from Best Buy.

Steam wallet cards allow you to put funds on your Steam account without the necessary credit card. The major plus to Steam has to be that the client allows organization of games on your machine, includes achievements, and allows the download and purchase of games. Savvy gamers know that Steam has major sales in the summer and winter (and other sales as well) on a vast collection of games including new releases and an ever expanding collection of older games.

I don't like to enter my CC or Debit Card information on any service (XBOX, PS Network, etc.), and these help me keep it that way. Make great gifts and stocking stuffers as well.

If you like steam (which I admit I REALLY did not at first), you probably like it for the ease of the system. Buy games on it and you never have to worry about physical CDs or anything, they are all on your account and can be loaded at anytime. These cards go hand in hand with that, because this way you have your "steam wallet" where you don't have to use a credit card (very good if you're one of those who don't like your credit card online).

I wasn't exactly sure what I'd get when I picked up the Steam card off the rack. The $100 value printed on the card left more questions than answers... "Can I use five $20s?" "Would 10 sawbucks work?" (I immediately rejected the idea of using my giant wad of singles, as I had plans for those later that evening.) I decided for take no chances and exchanged exactly one $100 bill for the $100 Steam card. The gambit worked. I came home, entered the code, and my account increased by PRECISELY... $100. It was a magical moment. I believe I detected the faint smell of lilac and jasmine in the air as the "1" appeared on my credit value. My only warning would be to avoid that weird variable-valued card. That's the Devil's work, no doubt.

It had the correct amount of funds on it, what else is there to say?

At first I was a little bit skeptical about purchasing a gift card for an online gaming site but I figured may as well go big or go home, since I was already heading home I decided to go big on the way. The ease of purchasing this card was phenomenal it was literally just hanging there like a Christmas ornament candy cane waiting to be chosen. Surprisingly the card is not as heavy as I thought it would be despite its hefty graphic design but boy oh boy when I logged on to my steam account and logged those magical numbers hidden behind the scratch of banner, this thing packed a wallop!!
