Since all the hacking that's been going on with major gaming networks over the years (PSN, XBL, etc) I've been hesitant to say the least about using a credit card for online purchases. For Steam these cards are great and you can find them almost anywhere gift cards are sold now. Hope GoG.com eventually follows suit as they require you to go through PaySafe which is a hassle.

There's not much to say about steam wallet cards. You buy them, scratch off the film covering the code, enter the code into your steam account, then go and buy some more games, adding to your never ending backlog. ;-p On a serious note, if you know someone who's a PC gamer and want to get them a game or two but don't know which ones to get, a steam wallet card is a very safe bet.
