I would purchase my games from Best Buy (I like having physical copies of discs), but the Best Buy selection of PC games is relatively small and their prices are usually too high. So, that's it. It's a challenge for me to find gifts that my teenage and college age relatives will like. The Steam gift card is the perfect answer! What can I say? Excellent and straightforward gift, or for personal use. Watch for those sales on Steam to get the max usage out of this card. Also remember to watch the checkout activate your card otherwise it is useless. And yes, Bestbuy rewards does apply towards this, and if they for some reason refuse in store then order online for a pick-up to use the rewards or other Bestbuy gift card.

If you like to play games on your computer these cards are terrific. I bought the most part of a romance scam so I really threw my money away although some thieves were thrilled. When people say beware of a scam the response should be what are you talking about what do you mean? I didn’t know and it didn’t make any sense to me. Best Buy is always wonderful and they’ve always been good to me. I wish that company a very successful new year!

It's Steam. I can get almost anything. EA and Epic Games having their own separate platforms for games is garbage.

My sons LOVE these cards! Plus my order was correct and showed up faster than quoted. Couldn't get any better than that.

Annual Christmas gift for my gamer (adult) kid. It’s easier than trying to figure out specific games. Plus, there are games only on the Steam platform. This allows him to choose what he wants.

If you've never used Steam as a distributor of your PC games, you are missing out. They keep a running catalog of your games and let you play them on any PC you are able to download and install onto. I purchased Orange Box with part of my "wallet" and already had Half-Life 2. Steam allowed me to gift the extra copy of the game to any member of Steam that I wanted to. Pretty cool!
