    This is a win-win situation when used appropriately if you are a PC or Mac gamer. Sign up for Best Buy's rewards program and wait for a a nice big Steam sale, like the 2014 Winter Sale that is going on as I write this review. You'll earn rewards points for buying discounted Steam stuff this way. Bonus if you have some sort of rewards credit card too! Also, these cards come in handy for those who don't have credit cards or aren't ready for them, like kids and high schoolers. This is also ideal for your gaming buddies if you're out of gift ideas.

    Steam gift cards are always a fun gift for most kids/teens/young adults. I like that they can put the amount on their account and then spend whenever games pop up. They can also buy for their friends. You can't lose the card because the amount is put into your online account right away.
