They are a convenient way to purchase PC games over the internet and not have our bank account or credit card information out there for people to see. We also do not have to have all of the boxes or disks to clutter the house they are all listed on our Steam Account

It is convenient since I can purchase variable sized cards, since I can purchase them ahead of time and store them for sudden needs, since I do not have to use my credit card online, and since they make great gifts.
