Steam Cards are a pain

I had never bought one so I had no idea. I bought two of these. Took them home. And followed all directions 100%. BOTH cards said invalid card numbers. I tried over and over and over again to get them to work. I checked forums online and finally found that this is a fairly common problem. The only thing to do was wait like 3 hours and retry the numbers. Once I waited three hours it took one of the codes but not the other. Had to wait another hour to get the other code to be accepted. I had both codes pasted into a text document and was copying and pasting the same numbers every time. It was not user error. Just be aware if you buy Steam cards do not expect to go home, make your purchase and start playing.

Just about the best

The other, publisher specific sites like Uplay or Origin are obviously going to have a smaller library available. Although Steam has been letting more less-that-worthy titles onto the service, it still offers great value through its sales. Grab this card when it's on sale and you save a few bucks.
