Easier than using a credit card

Instead of having to add my credit card information every time I want to buy something (I've had it stolen a few times) I can simply use this to add money to my account. If I have some money to spend but nothing I want to get, I'll pick up a steam funds card and load it right into my steam wallet. Now I'm ready for the next big sale or new release.

You can use the steam "dollars" to purchase downloadable titles for playing on a PC or Mac. the only flaw is that you cannot get the money back once it is uploaded. If you do not have enough for purchase, you must upload more funds or use a credit card.
