When thinking of stocking stuffers for my sons, I chose a few different gift cards. Steam is a very good card because both of my sons are gamers. With Steam, they can choose what they want to purchase online. There is a wide variety of things to choose from on Steam.

Best way to buy from Steam. Activates immediately, easy to use (redeem under "Games" menu "Redeem a Steam Wallet Code"). Pick these up while on sale at Best Buy and/or use your Best Buy Credit card to earn rewards points to further discount them. Wait for a Steam Sale and use your on sale Steam cash to buy on sale games and save even more....

There's not too much to say about it being a prepaid card. However, if you have a PC gamer in your life, it's a great gift, especially once summer rolls around. Steam's famous Summer Sale as well as others will allow your gamer to purchase 100's of dollars worth of games for less than 100.

It's a Steam gift card. What better way to utilize your money, than to buy a card that gives you access to basically every PC game on the market? It's quick, easy and simple to use. I would highly recommend purchasing this from a store, rather than put your CC in the Steam database.

Bought this for my nephew who seems to be addicted to Steam (Lol)! These gift cards are safe solution if you’re like me and don’t have complete trust in your CC information on the site (I also do this for PSN and Microsoft gift cards). Peace of mind goes a long way.

very good for making purchases on steam, very much worth it

I'm not sure what I'm really reviewing here. It's $100 that you spend on Steam. It buys Steam games and Valve hardware and other wonderful Steam-related stuff. It's great for a Steam sale and a wonderful way to pad your purchase at Best Buy if you're angling for the extending financing. It works exactly like you'd expect.

Overall, customer service is and always has been great but the only thing that sucks is the last two times I have came to get a steam card. I have to specifically ask an employee for one and then they have to hunt someone down with the key. Whereas they could just be set out in there spot with all the other gift cards.

When you are going to buy a Steam gift card, why do it from Steam directly. Sure you get the items you want right away, but that's it. If you go to Best buy and purchase it, those dollars count towards your elite status, think discounts, and you also get the full value on Steam. Why not get doubly rewarded?

Wanted the $100 but they ran out so I ordered a lot of $30s and $20s but there was a limit. But it was what I needed and it came next day even though it said a week.

I like these steam gift cards way more than inputting my card information online. I always gift these to my gamer friends so they can get whatever game they want, without the risk of me getting a game they already have or don't want.

Steam has been taking over the game market by offering the largest library of games that can be purchased legally. The $50 sounds like a lot at first, but with occasional "steam sale" one can purchase a multitude of games. Steam may take a minute to get used to, but it's well worth the investment.

Better than Amazon cards which I think need more control; some do not work and when I called Amazon, they said because the stores who sell these pay for supplying and selling these cards. Therefore the stores are responsible for any "dummy" cards that do not produce.

I went to Best Buy to use my birthday discount as well as my $5 credit. I couldn't find anything else I wanted in my price range, so I opted to get a Steam gift card since the summer event was starting. Well, Best Buy wouldn't take the 10% off promo discount on gift cards, so that was not able to be used. Oh well. Lame but understandable. Anyway, Steam cards are easy to use, and there's a ton of stuff you can purchase on Steam, from games to movies to VR hardware to PCs to game development and art software. It was a good purchase.

This is a safe way to allow my son to purchase games for his computer, and budget what he spends. Best Buy was the only place that had STEAM cards before Christmas. They saved me! Everyplace was sold out. Was able to fill the stockings!
